- Cragg House Farm is a traditional working hill farm in the heart of Buttermere, in the Lake District National Park. Home to our Herdwick sheep, Fell ponies, goats, pigs, poultry and working sheepdogs, we offer authentic farm experiences, hands-on farm tours, sheepdog demonstrations and educational visits throughout the year. Visitors can stay in our cosy Camping Barn, browse local produce in our Farm Shop, and enjoy a genuine insight into life on a Lake District hill farm. We are also home to High Stile Kennels, offering licensed dog boarding and training in a peaceful countryside setting with stunning fell views and tailored care.
