- Newton Aycliffe Dog Training Club was created by Sonya Ingledew and Lesley Thompson after Covid lockdowns, with the aim of providing appropriate socialisation sessions for people and their dogs. We offer free socialisation sessions for puppies up to 6 months old, and affordable sessions for over 6 months. Sessions are held outside to ensure there is space to avoid confrontation between dogs. All our training aims to build connection, confidence and trust between dogs and owners. We offer life-skills training courses for Puppies and for Adolescent/Adult dogs, both daytime and evenings. Hoopers and KC Good Citizen Awards for dogs who have had basic life-skills training. Our Obedience Group meets to learn competitive obedience skills.
